Albert Khait, MD

Board-Certified Pediatrician

I’m a board-certified pediatrician and a proud parent of two daughters. My wife, Joan, is also a pediatrician—we met during residency in Orange County.

Born in Ukraine, I’ve always been drawn to health, fitness, and community. Alongside pediatrics, I run a martial-arts studio, which has deeply shaped how I think about discipline, growth, and mentorship.

I was introduced to pediatrics at five years old after witnessing the meaningful bond my pediatrician grandmother shared with her patients. That moment planted the seed for everything I do today.

Over the years, I’ve been honored with the Arnold P. Gold Award for Humanism in Medicine and have led projects focused on compassionate care at Loma Linda University and Kaiser Permanente. My favorite part of medicine remains simple: working with families and remembering that life is human, nuanced, and shared.

Alba Aviles

Director of Patient Care

Before entering healthcare, I worked as an engineer for nine years. My most meaningful role, however, has been as a wife and mom to my two boys, whom I homeschool.

I was born in El Salvador and grew up as one of eleven children, where I learned early the importance of hard work, integrity, and kindness—values I bring into every interaction with families.

Before co-founding LittleWell Pediatrics, I worked with Dr. Khait at his martial arts studio, focusing on building relationships and helping families feel genuinely supported and connected.

I’m fluent in Spanish and English and proficient in Brazilian Portuguese. And while I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, I’ll never say no to a good brownie.
